Panto Time!

What an exciting and enjoyable way to end the autumn term! Thank you to the PTFA for organising our whole school trip to watch 'Cinderella' at The Lighthouse Theatre in Poole.

Christmas Service

It was lovely to see lots of parents, carers, family and friends join us for our Christmas Service this morning. Every child in the school was involved and we enjoyed singing, bell ringing, acting and prayers. Some children were brave enough to be soloists and two children accompanied on instruments. Mrs Green also presented cerificates to those who have achieved 'The Headteacher's Award' for this term. These eight children will enjoy a Christmas themed tea party with Mrs Green tomorrow as a special reward!

Christmas Lunch

The hall felt extremely festive this afternoon as many of the children (and staff!) enjoyed their Christmas dinner. We had Christmas music playing, crackers being pulled, party hats being worn and jokes being shared. Happy Christmas, everybody!

Carols Around the Tree

It was great to see so many parents, family and friends join us to sing carols around the tree this afternoon. Thank you once again to our fabulous PTFA for organising refreshments (including delicious homemade mince pies) afterwards.

Letters from Santa!

Children in Ladybirds class were very surprised to receive a letter addressed to each of them after lunch on Friday. The envelopes were ripped off and then there were lots of excited shrieks and smiles as we realised who the cards were from ... Father Christmas! He said he had received the letters we posted to him and was looking forward to visiting on Christmas Eve. What a lovely surprise!

Shine Star, Shine!

Ladybirds Class and Lobsters Class are really looking forward to performing our Christmas nativity on Tuesday and Wednesday afternoon this week. We have really enjoyed practising 'Shine Star, Shine!' and hope you will love it too. Here is a sneak preview for you, which we took during our final rehearsal today!

Dear Santa ...

We spent all week writing our letters to Santa and then walked up to the postbox to post them. We were very excited and even bumped into Rev Carol on the way back to school!
