Thank you!

We would like to say a huge thank you to Bovington Army Camp for sending some recruits to assist us with moving heavy furniture today. We really couldn't have managed with out them. The furniture removal is in preparation for improvement works which will take place in the school hall and the Jurassic room over the Summer holidays.

Headteacher's Award

Today, one certificate was awarded per class to a child who the staff felt have worked hard to ensure that they have embodied our school values this term. As the weather has been so glorious, the winners of this term's Headteacher's Awards enjoyed an ice-cream treat with Mrs Griffiths (Acting Headteacher). The children loved choosing how they wanted to decorate their delicious ice-cream and it was lovely to spend some time relaxing in the sun together! Well done, children .... we are incredibly proud of you!

'Thank You' Tea Party

This afternoon, our School Councillors held a special tea party to say 'thank you' to lots of people who have voluntarily helped Wool Primary throughout the year. We had actors and actresses who lead our 'Open the Book' assemblies, governors, members of the PTFA, a football club coach and many more! We hope everyone enjoyed the scones and cakes. Thank you for giving up your time to help us ... we really appreciate all you do!

Teddy Bear Hospital

The children in Ladybirds Class enjoyed hosting a hospital for their teddy bears today, whilst learning about how we can keep healthy. We had Dr Ben to come and visit us, and he told us all about the importance of washing our hands and how we can stop germs from spreading. Later on, the children made sandwiches and treated their teddies to a picnic outside to help the teddies feel better!

Maths Treasure Hunt

We really enjoyed our Times Table Treasure Hunt today in Lobsters. The clues were hidden around the field and we had to find answers to questions in the 2s,5s and 10s times tables. We loved learning maths outside today!

Ladybirds Class at Leeson House

What a wonderful time was had a Leeson House yesterday on our summer trip. The children each brought a teddy along to enjoy a picnic and everyone learnt lots of new information about minibeast habitats.
