Today our school welfare dog, Murphy turned 1 year old! He was very excited when he greeted the children on the school gate this morning and even more excited when he saw that one child had baked him a special dog-friendly cupcake at home as well! You can tell from the photos that Murphy didn't want to take his eyes of his birthday cake ... and it looked delicious too!
We ended our second week back by supporting World Down Syndrome Day. Children and staff came into school wearing brightly coloured socks, odd socks and even some custom made socks with decorations stitched onto them. A prize was awarded for the wackiest socks. In the afternoon we had a special visitor, Sally the Shetland Pony. Sally is owned by Hunni and we thought it would be a fantastic opportunity for Hunni to share one of her hobbies with her classmates. A fantastic day w
