Baking Bread
Ladybirds Class have been learning how to bake bread this morning. We have been reading 'The Giant Jam Sandwich' this week and we enjoyed being Bap the Baker when we were kneading the dough: "Thump it! Bump it! Bang it all about!"
It was such lovely weather this afternoon, that we decided to have a picnic outside. Mrs Griffiths cut the loaf into slices, and we enjoyed eating a piece of homemade bread and butter outside. We then had sometime on the adventure playground. We are looking forward to sharing a bread roll with our families as we are all bringing one home this afternoon!
