World Book Day 2026
World Book Day 2026 – A Celebration of Stories and Imagination
Our school was filled with colour, creativity and a real buzz of excitement as we celebrated World Book Day 2026. Children and staff alike came dressed as their favourite book characters, bringing much‑loved stories to life throughout the day. From classic heroes to modern favourites, the corridors were transformed into a wonderful parade of imagination.
The day was packed with book‑themed activities designed to inspire a love of reading. Classes enjoyed storytelling sessions, reading challenges, and discussions about the books that spark their curiosity and fuel their imaginations. It was fantastic to see children sharing recommendations with their friends and discovering new stories to enjoy.
One of the highlights of the day was seeing how enthusiastic our pupils were about reading — a reminder of just how important books are in helping children learn, dream and grow.
A huge thank you to our staff, families, and of course our brilliant pupils for making World Book Day such a special event. We hope the excitement of today encourages everyone to keep reading and exploring new adventures long after the costumes are packed away!
