Budding Firefighters!
We welcomed a Fire Education Officer into school on Thursday. He spent time with Squirrels class Foxes class and Badgers class covering many aspects of fire safety and education such as: fire and burn prevention, the importance of having smoke alarms, fire escape plans and 999 emergency calls but the most enjoyable part of the day for the children was when the fire engine arrived! Key Stage 1 children got to test out the fire hoses and to look at the equipment on the fire engine.
