It might have only been four days for the children in school but we have been busy.

We have been outside planting bulbs (some Squirrels were certain they had seen them growing within half an hour of covering the bulbs in soil!);

We have begun to design and build a new house for the Three Little Pigs - we have received two letters from the Three Little Pigs asking for advice about how to deal with the Big Bad Wolf. After some discussion we wrote letters back to the three pigs. We even had to get the hoover out on one day to clean up a mess in the classroom; usefully the children decided the mess had been made by the Big Bad Wolf and was nothing to do with us !

A special mention must be made about children helping each other read as they match sentences to pictures.
