It is Friday, the sun is shining and so Oak Class agreed we should have a picnic with our morning milk and fruit on top of the hill overlooking the church.

We spoke to the sheep who were next door to us before visiting the church. We looked around the church, marvelling at the stained glass windows, the stone carvings, flags, eagles and organ. We practised sitting where we are going to sit on our next visit and learnt about God 's house.

Next Wednesday you are invited to the hall at 08:40 when I will inform you about our phonics teaching before taking you through to the classroom where you can sit with your child as I lead a phonics lesson.
