Week 2 - Oak Class
The second week completed already. It has been a great week with Miss Wells and Mrs Harris joining Oaks Class and the little ones staying for lunch for the first time.
We also had sports coaches working with the older children for an afternoon this week.
The Year Ones are getting back to the classroom routine they knew of old and some are clearly rising to the challenge. I have been composing and writing poetry with the Year Ones - an experience for all of us !
Having assessed the children post summer and post lockdown, we will be getting into the Read Write Inc groups next week. All children will be bringing home a reading book towards the end of next week.
Reception are in full time next week so I hope they rest well over the weekend. We will be !
