Mental Health and Wellbeing

We believe children's emotional health and wellbeing has a huge impact on their ability to learn.

We subscribe to SCARF and we feel our pupils benefit hugely from the resources and provision this provides.  Teachers prioritise creating a safe space in which children are encouraged to talk, to listen, to ask questions and to reflect.  We also provide additional small group or 1:1 provision for key pupils through offering ELSA sessions and Champion Chats.  We believe that every child deserves a champion and we feel privileged to nurture our children as they develop skills to promote a healthy mind and body.

Don't forget that I am always here to help too!  I am help build children's confidence, self-esteem and am a good support.  I love spending some time 1:1 with children and being stroked or talked to along with Mrs Griffiths who is my handler.
