"Five hot cross buns in a bakers shop..."was sung a lot and trialled with solo parts, duets and as a whole class. For those of you present at the church for the Easter service you will know Squirrels did themselves proud.

The same day as the service we were visited by Chartwells who read The Hungry Caterpillar to the children. Chartwells provided a wrap and a mix of fresh fruit for the children to create a caterpillar, or butterfly, that was"wrapped" up in a cocoon. I quote from an email I received after the visit, "It was a great session, extremely proud of the children that tried something for the first time and impressed by their politeness."
